1988 (College Football): In a battle of unbeatens, #1 Notre Dame dominates #2 USC with a 27-10 victory. The Fighting Irish were 4½-point road underdogs and the game stayed under the total of 43 points. Notre Dame would go on to defeat West Virginia in the Fiesta Bowl and finish the season #1 in the AP Poll.
1989 (NFL): Willie "Flipper" Anderson sets the record for most receiving yards in an NFL game with 336 yards on 15 catches in the Los Angeles Rams 20-17 victory over the New Orleans Saints. The game was a pick 'em and stayed under the total of 43 points. The Rams overcame a 17-3 4th quarter deficit as Anderson's 15-yard touchdown catch from Jim Everett tied the game at 17-17.
2019 (College Basketball): Nathan Bain's breakaway layup as time expired in overtime gives Stephen F Austin a stunning 85-83 victory over #1 Duke in Durham, NC. The Lumberjacks were 27½-point underdogs and the game went over the total of 149 points. Stephen F Austin senior guard Kevon Harris had a game-high 26 points.
