1985 (College Basketball): Indiana head coach Bob Knight is ejected after throwing his chair across the court just 5 minutes into a home game against Purdue. The Hoosiers, who were a 9½-point favorite, would go on to lose 72-63. Knight was incensed by a foul called against Marty Simmons during a loose-ball scramble. It was the 3rd straight home loss for Indiana - the first time that had happened in 14 years.

2014 (Olympics): Canada wins their 2nd straight Men's Ice Hockey Gold Medal and 9th overall after defeating Sweden 3-0. Canada was a -180 favorite for the game and entered the tournament as the favorite to win at +180. Goalie Carey Price stopped all of Sweden's 24 shots and Sydney Crosby scored a goal for Canada in the win.
