1987 (MLB): Mark McGwire's hits his 39th home run to break the MLB record for most home runs by a rookie in the Oakland Athletics 7-6 victory over the California Angels. Oakland was a +110 road underdog as McGwire finished the season with 49 homers.


2011 (Golf): Entering the tournament as a 150-1 longshot, Keegan Bradley wins the PGA Championship at the Atlanta Athletic Club after defeating fellow American Jason Dufner by 1 stroke in a 3-hole playoff. Bradley became only the 3rd player in history to win a major championship in their first appearance at a major.


2015 (MLB): San Diego Padres' outfielder Matt Kemp becomes the first player in franchise history to hit for the cycle after hitting a 9th-inning triple in the Padres 9-5 victory over the Colorado Rockies. The Padres were -130 road favorites and the game went over the total of 10 runs.


2016 (Olympics): Entering the race as the -275 favorite, Jamaican Usain Bolt wins the 100m gold medal in 9.81 seconds at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics. Bolt became the first man to win the event 3 times at the Olympics.
