1989 (Boxing): In a rematch from 1981, Sugar Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns fight to a draw at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas as Leonard retained the WBC Super Middleweight Championship. Leonard was a -350 favorite as the odds of a draw were +1500.
1991 (NBA): Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls win their first NBA Championship after defeating the Los Angeles Lakers 108-101 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. The Bulls were 1-point road favorites as Scottie Pippen scored 32 points and collected 13 rebounds. Chicago entered the season at +700 to win the title and entered Game 1 as -200 favorites to win the series. Jordan was named Finals MVP after averaging 31.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 11.4 assists during the series.

2011 (NBA): As 5-point road underdogs, the Dallas Mavericks win their first NBA championship after defeating the Miami Heat 105-95 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The Mavericks entered the season at 20-1 to win the title and entered Game 1 as +155 underdogs to win the series. Dirk Nowitzki won the Finals MVP award after averaging 26.0 points and 9.7 rebounds per game during the series.

2019 (NHL): The St Louis Blues go on the road and defeat the Boston Bruins 4-1 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. The Blues were +155 underdogs for the game as they captured their first title in franchise history. Midway through the season they were 17-20-4 and listed at 250-1 to win the Stanley Cup but went 28-8-5 in the second half of the season. Entering Game 1 they were +140 underdogs to win the series. Ryan O'Reilly won the Conn Smythe award after finishing with 23 points during the playoffs.
