1993 (NBA): The Phoenix Suns outlast the Chicago Bulls 129-121 in triple overtime of the NBA Finals - it's only the 2nd triple-OT game in Finals history (the Suns played in the first one as well, losing to the Boston Celtics back in 1976). Phoenix was an 8-point road underdog and cut their series deficit to 2-1. Michael Jordan led all scorers with 44 points and Suns guard Kevin Johnson set a Finals record by playing 62 minutes. The Bulls would go on to win the series in 6 games.
2002 (NHL): The Detroit Red Wings win their 10th Stanley Cup after defeating the Carolina Hurricanes 3-1 in Game 5 of the Finals. Detroit entered Game 1 as -750 favorites to win the series - the largest favorite in the Finlas going back to 1984 (as far as back was we have series prices for the Finals). Defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom would win the Conn Smythe award after putting up 16 points in the playoffs.

2012 (MLB): Matt Cain pitches the 22nd perfect game in MLB history as the San Francisco Giants defeat the Houston Astros 10-0. San Francisco was a -200 home favorite as Cain struck out 14 batters on 125 pitches.
2019 (NBA): The Toronto Raptors beat the defending champion Golden State Warriors 114-110 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals to win the franchise's first Championship. The Raptors were 2½-point road underdogs as they won their third road game during the series. Toronto entered Game 1 as +230 underdogs to win the series - since 1969 (as far back as we have NBA Finals series prices) they are the 2nd biggest series underdog to win The Finals behind only the 2004 Detroit Pistons who were +500 vs the LA Lakers. Since the 1984-85 season, the Raptors preseason odds to win the NBA Championship of +1850 are the 3rd highest of the eventual champion behind the 2014-15 Warriors (+2800) and 2010-11 Dallas Mavericks (+2000).
