1980 (NFL): After starting out the season 0-14, the New Orleans Saints get their first win of the season with a 21-20 victory over the New York Jets, who dropped to 3-12. The Saints were a 7-point road underdog and the game stayed under the total of 46 points. Running back Tony Galbreath's 1-yard touchdown with 4:49 left to play gave New Orleans the lead for good. New Orleans would lose in week 16 to become the first NFL team to lose 15 games in a season.
2008 (NFL): The Pittsburgh Steelers clinch the AFC North with a come from behind 13-9 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. The Steelers were a 3-point road underdog and the game stayed under the total of 34 points. Pittsburgh took the lead for good with 43 seconds left in the game after a 4-yard touchdown from Ben Roethlisberger to Santonio Holmes. The replay showed that Holmes' feet were in the end zone but the ball may not have been. The Steelers would go on to win their 2nd Super Bowl in 4 seasons.
2019 (College Football): LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is named the Heisman Trophy Award winner after receiving 841 of the 891 first place votes. Burrow opened at 200-1 in February and closed the preseason at 40-1. He would go on to lead the Tigers to a National Championship and be picked #1 overall in the NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
