1983 (MLB): The Texas Rangers set the record for most runs scored by a team in extra innings after scoring 12 times in the 15th inning to beat the Oakland Athletics 16-4. The Rangers were -140 road favorites for the game.
2004 (Tennis): 17 year-old Maria Sharapova becomes the first Russian player to win Wimbledon after beating defending champion Serena Williams 6-1, 6-4. Entering the tournament, Sharapova was 50-1 to win the title while Williams was the odds-on-favorite at -125. Sharapova would defeat Williams in their next match but would fail to defeat her again in 19 matches.

2011 (Tennis): Novak Djokovic wins his first Wimbledon title after defeating defending champion Rafael Nadal 6-4, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3. Djokovic was a +125 underdog for the match and entered the tournament at +325 to win the title.
