1991 (MLB): Montreal Expos ace Dennis Martinez pitches the 11th perfect game in MLB history in their 2-0 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Expos were +110 road underdogs as catcher Ron Hassey became the first to catch two perfect games as he was also behind the plate for Cleveland Indians Len Barker's gem 10 years earlier. Martinez, 36 years-old at the time, struck out 5 batters on 95 pitches.

1993 (MLB) New York Mets pitcher Anthony Young snaps an MLB record 27-game losing streak in the Mets 5-4 victory over the Florida Marlins. New York was a -160 home favorite as Young came out of the bullpen in a tie game to pitch the top of the 9th where he gave up one unearned run but the Mets rallied in the bottom frame for 2 runs. Young hadn't won since April 19, 1992.

1994 (MLB) Kenny Rogers becomes the 12th man in MLB history to pitch a perfect game in the Texas Rangers 4-0 defeat of the California Angels. The Rangers were -180 home favorites as Rogers struck out 8 batters on 98 pitches.
