1988 (NHL): As +170 series underdogs, the Boston Bruins defeat the Montreal Canadiens, 4-1, in Game 5 to win the Adams Division playoff championship and advance to the Wales Conference Finals. Boston would go on to reach the Stanley Cup Finals where they would be swept by Wayne Gretzky and the Edmonton Oilers.
