1979 (NBA): Seattle earns its first major pro sport championship after the SuperSonics defeat the Washington Bullets 97-93 for a 4-1 NBA Finals victory. Seattle was a 4-point road underdog and entered Game 1 as a +130 underdog to win the series. The series was a rematch of the previous years' Finals in which the Bullets won Game 7 on the road in Seattle.

1992 (NHL): The Pittsburgh Penguins win back-to-back Stanley Cups after beating the Chicago Blackhawks 6-5 in Game 4 to complete a series sweep. The Blackhawks, who had won 11 games in a row entering the Finals, were -150 home favorites for the game. Pittsburgh, who ironically won their 11th straight game, entered Game 1 as -160 favorites to win the series. Mario Lemieux was awarded the Conn Smythe for the second straight year.

2012 (MLB): In the franchise's 50th anniversary and after 8,020 games, Johan Santana pitches the first no-hitter in New York Mets history in a 8-0 victory over the St Louis Cardinals. The Mets were +103 home underdogs as Santana walked 5 and struck out 8 on 134 pitches.
2019 (Boxing): As a +1200 underdog, Andy Ruiz Jr defeated Anthony Joshua by TKO in the 7th round to win the heavyweight title.
