2005 (NBA): Kobe Bryant outscores the Dallas Mavericks 62-61 by himself through the first 3 quarters as the Los Angeles Lakers would go on to defeat the Mavericks 112-90. The Lakers were a 1-point home underdog as Bryant sat out the 4th quarter after scoring a franchise-record 30 points during the 3rd quarter. The 62 points was a career high at the time for Bryant but he would put up 81 points a month and 2 days later in a victory against the Toronto Raptors.


2008 (NFL): The Dallas Cowboys play their final game at Texas Stadium and lose 33-24 to the Baltimore Ravens. The Cowboys failed to cover as 5½-point favorites and the game went over the total of 39 points thanks to a 34-point 4th quarter that featured touchdown runs of 77 and 82 yards by Ravens running backs Willis McGahee and Le'Ron McClain. The Cowboys would move from Irving to Arlington and into their new digs at AT&T Stadium for the 2009 season.


2009 (NFL): Josh Cribbs returns 2 kickoffs for touchdowns in the first half and running back Jerome Harrison rushes for 286 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Cleveland Browns 41-34 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Browns were 3-point road underdogs and the game went over the total of 37 points before halftime. Harrison's 28-yard rushing touchdown with 44 seconds remaining in the game gave the Browns the lead for good.
