1969 (Boxing): As a -240 favorite, Smokin' Joe Frazier improves to 24-0 and retains the NYSAC heavyweight title by defeating Jerry Quarry following a 7th round stoppage. Ring magazine named it the fight of the year for 1969.
2005 (NBA): The San Antonio Spurs win their 3rd NBA Championship over a 7-season span after defeating the defending champion Detroit Pistons 81-74 in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. The Spurs covered as 5-point home favorites as they entered Game 1 as -250 favorites to win the series. Tim Duncan won his 3rd and final Finals MVP award after averaging 20.6 points, and 14.1 rebounds per game during the series.

2010 (Soccer): Landon Donovan's stoppage time goal gives the United States Men's National Team a 1-0 lead (and eventual victory) over Algeria in the 2010 World Cup. The win secured a spot for the USMNT in the Round of 16 knockout stage as they were -115 to win the match. They would go on to lose 2-1 to Ghana in the Round of 16.
