1964 (NFL): The Cleveland Browns win their last NFL Championship with a 27-0 shutout victory over the Baltimore Colts. The Browns were a 7-point home underdog as legendary running back Jim Brown ran the ball 27 times for 114 yards and caught 3 passes for 37 yards. Cleveland wide receiver Gary Collins caught 3 touchdowns from quarterback Frank Ryan and the Browns defense held the Colts to 11 first downs and caused 4 turnovers, including 2 interceptions off of quarterback Jonny Unitas.


1983 (NBA): The San Diego Clippers end a 29-game road losing streak with a 110-95 victory over the Houston Rockets. The Clippers were a 6½-point underdog as Norm Nixon and Terry Cummings led all scorers with 28 points. The Clippers hadn't won a road game since February 17th, when they defeated the Golden State Warriors 112-102.


2009 (NFL): The New York Jets end the Indionapolis Colts' perfect 14-0 season with a 29-15 victory. The Jets were a 3-point road underdog and the game went over the total of 40½-points. New York scored 26 points in the 2nd half, including a kickoff return and defensive fumble return for touchdowns. The Colts would get revenge a month later when they defeated the Jets 30-17 in the AFC Championship game.


2015 (NFL): The Carolina Panthers bid to go 16-0 comes to an end after losing 20-13 to the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons were a 6½-point home underdog and the game stayed under the total of 47½-points. Julio Jones' 70-yard touchdown catch from Matt Ryan late in the 3rd quarter put the Falcons in the lead for good. Jones finished the day with 9 catches for 178 yards.
