1998 (College Football): At the Big 12 Championship game played in St Louis, #10 Texas A&M ends #2 Kansas State's perfect season and shot to play in the first BCS National Championship with a 36-33 double overtime victory. The Aggies were a 17½-point underdog and the game went over the total of 46 points.


2009 (College Football): In a battle of undefeated schools for the SEC Championship, #2 Alabama knocks off #1 Florida for the right to play in the National Championship. The Crimson Tide were 4½-point underdogs and the game went over the total of 41 points. Alabama running back Mark Ingram, who would be named the Heisman Trophy winner a week later, ran for 113 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Crimson Tide would go on to win the National Championship a month later at the Rose Bowl with a 37-21 victory over Texas.


2016 (NBA): Playing only 29 minutes and sitting out the entire 4th quarter, Klay Thompson scores 60 points in the Golden State Warriors 142-106 win over the Indiana Pacers. The Warriors covered as 15-point home favorites and the game went over the total of 224 points. Thomspon was 21-for-33 from the field, 8-for-14 from beyond the arc and 10-for-11 from the free throw line. He become the first player in the shot-clocck era to reach 60 points with fewer than 30 minutes played.
