1993 (NBA): Michael Jordan scores 64 points - the 2nd most in his career - but it wasn't enough as the 2-time defending NBA Champion Chicago Bulls lose to the Orlando Magic 128-124 in overtime. The Magic were an 11-point road underdog as rookie center Shaquille O'Neal had 29 points, 24 rebounds and 5 blocks.


2011 (NFL): One month after losing 45-3 to the New England Patroits, the New York Jets defeat the AFC's top-seed Patriots in Foxborough 28-21 to advance to the AFC Championship game. The Jets were a 9½-point underdog and the game went over the total of 45 points. Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez threw for 194 yards and 3 touchdows as the Jets defense held the Patriots to 14 first downs.
