2000 (NFL) Cincinnati Bengals running back Corey Dillon sets a then single-game rushing record with 278 yards in the Bengals 31-21 victory over the Denver Broncos. The winless Bengals were 10-point home underdogs and the game went over the total of 43 points. Dillon had touchdown runs of 65 and 41 yards as be broke the record held by Walter Payton for 27 years by 3 yards.


2016 (College Football): #16 Oklahoma and Texas Tech set an NCAA record with a combined 1,708 offensive yards in the Sooners 66-59 victory. Oklahoma failed to cover as 16½-point road favorites and the game flew over the total of 86 points. Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield threw for 545 yards and 7 touchdowns and Red Raiders quarterback Patrick Mahomes passed for 734 yards and 5 touchdowns.


2016 (MLB): The Chicago Cubs win their first National League Pennant in 71 years after shutting out Clayton Kershaw and the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-0 in Game 6 of the NLCS. The Cubs were +115 home underdogs and the game stayed under the total of 6½-runs. Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks and Aroldis Chapman combine to face the minimum 27 batters as they allowed only 2 hits and 1 walk - marking the first time a team in the playoffs faced the minimum number of batters since Don Larsen threw a perfect game in the 1956 World Series. The Cubs entered the season as +330 favorites to win the National League and entered Game 1 as -210 favorites to win the series.
