1987 (MLB): The Milwaukee Brewers fail to surpass the 1982 Atlanta Braves for longest winning streak (13) to open a season as they fall to the Chicago White Sox, 7-1. The Brewers were -130 favorites on the road as they would go on to finish the season 91-71, good for 3rd in the AL East.


2012 (MLB): Philip Humber tosses the 21st MLB perfect game for the Chicago White Sox in a 4-0 victory over the Seattle Mariners. The White Sox were -110 favorites as Humber struck out nine in the game.


2018 (NBA): As 6½-point favorites, the New Orleans Pelicans win Game 4, 131-123, against the Portland Trail Blazers to sweep their Western Conference Round 1 series. The Pelicans were +180 underdogs to win the series and +2500 to win in a sweep as Anthony Davis averaged 33 points, 12 points and 3 blocks in the series.
