1993 (NHL): Behind a hat trick and assist from Wayne Gretzky, the Los Angeles Kings defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-4 in Game 7 of the Campbell Conference Finals as the Kings reach their first Stanley Cup Finals. Los Angeles was a +140 road underdog for the game and entered Game 1 as +110 underdogs to win the series. They would go on to lose in 5 games to the Montreal Canandiens in the Finals in what turned out to be the Great One's last Stanley Cup Finals appearance.

1997 (NBA): The Utah Jazz earn their first NBA Finals appearance after John Stockton drills a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the Jazz a 103-100 victory over the Houston Rockets in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals. The Jazz were 4-point road underdogs and entered Game 1 as -220 favorites to win the series. Utah would go on to lose in 6 games to the Chicago Bulls in The Finals.

2010 (MLB): Roy Halladay pitches the 20th perfect game in MLB history in a Philadelphia Phillies 1-0 victory against the Florida Marlins. The Phillies were slight -110 road favorites as the game stayed well under the total of 6.5. Halladay struck out 11 on 115 pitches. He was the preseason favorite at +250 to win the NL Cy Young award and would go on to win the award after finishing the year 21-10 with a 2.44 ERA. In doing so, he became just the 5th pitcher to win the award in both leagues.
