1988 (Boxing): As a -425 favorite, Mike Tyson improves to 35-0 and knocks out previously undefeated Michael Spinks 91 seconds into the first round. Billed as 'Once and For All' the fight was the richest fight in boxing history up to that point. Tyson held the heavyweight title belts of the three major sanctioning orgranizations while Spinks was the Ring and Boxing Illustrated magazine champion.


1993 (MLB): New York Mets right-hander Anthony Young sets an MLB record by suffering his 24th consecutive loss in a 5-3 defeat to the St Louis Cardinals. The Mets were +130 home underdogs as Young would go on to lose another three games to bring the streak to 27 losses - a record which still holds to this day.


1999 (MLB): In the final game played at the Kingdome, Ken Griffey Jr. hits a 3-run homer and robs Juan Gonzalez of a 3-run homer of his own in a 5-2 Seattle Mariners win over the Texas Rangers. The game was a pick 'em.
