1997 (Boxing): Mike Tyson is disqulified for biting Evander Holyfield's ear in the 3rd round of their WBA heavyweight title fight. Despite having beaten Tyson 7 months earlier, Holyfield entered the fight as a +155 underdog as he improved to 34-3.
2012 (Tennis): Lukas Rosol, ranked 100th in the world, upsets #2 seed Rafael Nadal in the 2nd round at Wimbledon. Rosol was around 26-1 to win the match.
