1992 (Tennis): #12 seed Andre Agassi wins the 1st of his 8 Grand Slam singles titles after defeating Goran Ivanisevic 6-7, 6-4, 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 in the finals at Wimbledon. Agassi was a -180 favorite for the match and entered the tournament at 20-1 to win the title.

1993 (MLB): Oakland Athletics outfielder Rickey Henderson becomes the 2nd player in MLB history (and first since Red Sox Harry Hooper in 1913) to hit leadoff homers in both games of a doubleheader. The A's won the first game 6-5 against the Cleveland Indians as a -130 home favorite and lost the second game 6-2 as a -140 favorite.
2009 (Tennis) Roger Federer wins his 15th Grand Slam singles titles to move past Pete Sampras for most of all-time after outlasting Andy Roddick 5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 3-6, 16-14 in the Wimbledon final. Federer was a heavy -667 favorite for the match and entered the tournament as a -137 odds-on-favorite to win the title.
