1992 (NBA): Reggie Miller scores a career-high 57 points and sets an Indiana Pacers single-game record in their 138-122 win against the Charlotte Hornets. The Pacers were 5-point road underdogs as Miller was 16-for-29 from the floor and 21-for-23 from the free throw line.
2004 (NFL): In the 2nd highest scoring game in NFL history, the Cincinnati Bengals defeat the Cleveland Browns 58-48. The Bengals covered as 6-point home favorites and the game obviously went over the total of 38 points. Cincinnati quarterback Carson Palmer threw for 4 touchdowns and running back Rudi Johnson ran for a career-high 202 yards and 2 touchdowns. Bengals cornerback Deltha O'Neal capped off the scoring and put the game away with a 31-yard interception TD return off of Browns quarterback Kelly Holcomb, who threw for 413 yards and 5 touchdowns.
2015 (Boxing): Britsh fighter Tyson Fury ends Wladimir Klitschko's 9-year run as heavyweight champion of the world with a 12-round unanimous decision. The 27-year old Fury was a +400 underdog as he improved to 25-0.
