1996 (NBA): The Chicago Bulls' franchise-record 18-game winning streak comes to an end as the Denver Nuggets defeat the Bulls 105-99. The Nuggets were a 10-point home underdog and the game went over the total of 193 points. Guard Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf led the Nuggets with 32 points as Bulls guard Michael Jordan led all scorers with 39 points. The Bulls fell to 41-4 as they would go on to finish the regular season 72-10.


2007 (NFL): Super Bowl XLI at Dolphin Stadium in Miami - the Indianapolis Colts defeat the Chicago Bears 29-17 to win their first Super Bowl since moving to Indianapolis in 1984. The Colts covered as a 6½-point favorite and the game stayed just under the total of 47 points. The Super Bowl MVP was awarded to Colts quarterback Peyton Manning who passed for 247 yards and 1 touchdown. The Indianapolis defense caused 5 turnovers, including a 56-yard interception return by Kelvin Hayden early in the 4th quarter that turned out to be the last score of the game.


2018 (NFL): As a 4-point underdog in Super Bowl LII, the Philadelphia Eagles defeat the New England Patriots 41-33 to win their first Super Bowl title. Tthe game went over the total of 49½-points. Eagles quarterback Nick Foles was named Super Bowl MVP after tossing for 373 yards and 3 touchdowns. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady set a Super Bowl record with 505 passing yards in the losing effort.
