1991 (Boxing): As a -360 favorite, Evander Holyfield defeats 42 year-old George Foreman in a 12-round unanimous decision. Holyfield retained the WBA, WBC and IBF heavyweight titles.


1997 (MLB): The St Louis Cardinals defeat the San Diego Padres, 1-0, in the first MLB game ever played in Hawaii. Brian Jordan scored the lone run after stealing third base and a subsequent wild throw by Padres catcher John Flaherty. St Louis was a +110 underdog for the game.


2004 (NHL): Calgary's Martin Gelinas scores one minute and 25 seconds into overtime as the Flames defeat the Vancouver Canucks, 3-2, in Game 7 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. It's the fastest goal scored in a Game 7 OT in NHL history as the Flames were +105 for the game and +160 for the series. They would go on to lose to the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Finals.
