1966 (Golf): Jack Nicklaus becomes the first back-to-back champion at the Masters after defeating Tommy Jacobs and Gay Brewer in an 18-hole Monday playoff. Nicklaus entered the tournament as the betting favorite at +400.

1999 (Golf): Spaniard Jose Maria Olazabal wins his second Green Jacket at the Masters, 2 strokes ahead of Davis Love III and 3 strokes ahead of Greg Norman. Olazabal entered the tournament at +3000. This marked the only Masters from 1997 to 2010 that Tiger Woods was not the betting favorite as David Duval was +600 while Woods was +700.

2004 (Golf): With a birdie on the final hole, 33 year-old Phil Mickelson wins his first major title at the Masters by 1 stroke over South African Ernie Els. Prior to the start of the tournament, Mickelson was +1200 while Els was +900.
