1992 (NFL): Neither team punts in a game for the first time NFL history as the Buffalo Bills defeat the San Francisco 49ers 34-31. The Bills were 3½-point road underdogs and the game went way over the total of 44 points. Buffalo's Jim Kelly and San Francisco's Steve Young both passed for 400 yards in a matchup that NFL fans were robbed of seeing in the Super Bowl in the early 1990's.

1997 (College Football): #11 Texas suffers its worst loss in 93 years as UCLA routs the Longhorns 66-3. The Bruins were a 10½-point road underdog as quarterback Cade McNown tossed a school-record 5 touchdowns. It's the biggest defeat of a ranked team in The Associated Press college football poll.

2010 (Tennis): Rafael Nadal completes the career Grand Slam after winning his 1st U.S. Open title by defeating Novak Djokovic 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2. Nadal was a -330 favorite for the match and entered the tournament at +250 to win the title.
