2003 (NFL): Jamal Lewis rushes for a then NFL-record 295 yards on 30 carries in the Baltimore Ravens 33-13 victory over the Cleveland Browns. The Ravens covered as 2½-point home favorites and the game went over the total of 39 points. Lewis had touchdown runs of 82 and 63 yards as he would go on to become only the 5th running back in NFL history to eclipse 2,000 yards in a season. He finished the season with 2,066 yards - just 39 short Eric Dickerson's 2,105 yards in 1984.

2009 (Tennis): Juan Martin del Potro upsets 5-time defending champion Roger Federer 3-6, 7-6, 4-6, 7-6, 6-2 in the U.S. Open final. Del Potro was a +300 underdog for the match and entered the tournament at +1000 to win the title.

2019 (College Football): As a 27-point road underdog, FCS member The Citadel upsets Georgia Tech 27-24 in overtime. The Bulldogs were 25-1 on the money line as kicker Jacob Godek hit the game winner with a 37-yard field goal.
